The building is made of Ferro-concrete, steel and glass and presents an expressive composition of post constructive style. Front and side parts are made of huge stained-glass show windows which are manufactured in a bay window type. All together it creates a kind of a roof above the entrances.

Department store “Moscow” started to function in 1963. The building consists of 6 floors, bottom and upper cellars and technical floor. 5 of 6 floors are used directly for a trade, at the same time part of the 1-st floor is used for a food department. 6-th floor, upper and bottom cellars are used for a warehouse premises.

Two-tape escalators and wide three-mid-flight ladders that connect trade floors are united in one group for a uniform distribution of consumer streams and separate trade halls from office accommodations which are directed to the inner part of the building.
